Dr. Jitin Sahani

Dr. Sahani comes highly recommended for his keen eye for detail & high quality of dental care. He believes in being a careful listener & getting to know each patient as an individual in order to provide the best, most personalized dental care possible. He is passionate about working with each patient to give them a smile they can be proud of.

Dr. Sahani earned his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from the Boston University Dental School as well as a Master of Science degree in Prosthetic Dentistry from the University of London, U.K. While at Boston University, he received the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration Award & the Boston University Altshuler Family Award for his high standards. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) & the New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (NEACD).


Dr. Sadaf Foroutanjazi

Dr. Sadaf Foroutanjazi is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned both her DMD & her Master of Science in Dental Research degree. Prior to attending Tufts University, Dr. Foroutanjazi graduated from Ajman University of Science & Technology, College of dentistry in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Foroutanjazi keeps herself up to date on the latest developments in dentistry through continuing education. She believes in providing high-quality dental care while maximizing patient comfort. She strives to provide comfortable, thorough and comprehensive dental care.

Dr. Foroutanjazi is dedicated to building a strong relationship with her patients. She works with her patients to create a personalized treatment plan that will best fit their needs & lifestyle. She loves having the opportunity to help people every day by improving their oral health & quality of life.

During her free time she plays piano & loves to travel & spend time with her family & friends.


Dr. Sami Chogle

Dr. Sami Chogle graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland in 2000 with an MSD in Postdoctoral Endodontics. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Dharwad University in India and his Endodontics training from Kuwait.

While starting his career in private practice he also took on the role of Assistant professor in Endodontics at Case Western Reserve University where he really found his passion, combining Endodontics and teaching. From there Dr. Chogle’s role at Case Western grew to Associate Professor and to Director of Undergraduate Endodontics. In 2009 Dr. Chogle was offered the position of Program Director of Advanced Education in Endodontics at Boston University Institute in Dubai UAE for their Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics. In 2012 he transitioned to Boston University in the US to be the Director of their Advanced Education Program in Endodontics.

In 2017, Dr. Chogle was promoted to be Chair of Endodontics and Director of Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics at Boston University, both of which he currently holds.

Dr. Chogle has held over 10 different professional appointments, most recently of which he has been appointed to be on the Board of the AAE as well as inducted as a fellow in the International College of Dentists. Dr. Chogle has also worked on multiple research projects funded by grants over the years. He is dedicated to furthering research in Endodontics, working with many different residents on multiple projects and has multiple publications.


Dr. David Lebowitz

Dr. David Lebowitz earned his bachelor of arts in biochemistry from Boston University. Following his graduation, Dr. Lebowitz attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Following that he attended Harvard University—VA residency in Periodontology, receiving his Periodontology Certificate.

Dr. Lebowitz is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Massachusetts Dental Society & the Massachusetts Periodontology Society.

Dr. Lebowitz, outside of the office, is involved with environmental groups such as the Ipswich River Watershed Association. He also enjoys spending time with his family, fishing & the outdoors.


Dr. Carolyn Schweitzer

DDS

Carolyn Schweitzer, DDS

 Dr. Schweitzer graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors in Biology, then attended the State University of New York Dental School at Buffalo, where she also completed a hospital residency. 

Dr. Schweitzer has been practicing general dentistry since 1984. She loves being a dentist and feels that dentistry is the perfect blend of art, science, and helping people. She believes that as long as you stay curious and keep learning, your career will always be exciting. As a result, she has done hundreds of hours of continuing education. 

 In 2018 the doctor graduated from The VIVOS Institute in Denver Colorado where she learned to identify the warning signs of sleep apnea and similar sleep related disorders, which are often first identified during a dental exam. She also learned how facial growth and development affect a person’s health and function. Dr. Schweitzer takes an interest in her patient’s total health. 

Dr. Schweitzer has also recently joined the faculty of Tufts Dental School as a part time clinical instructor. 

Dr. Carolyn  loves to sing, and often sings or hums while she works, which her patients find very relaxing. She is married with one son and two cats and the whole family likes to go rock climbing together (except the cats).
